Beijing Wangjing Point Light Source Project:Weaving a Tapestry of Light Across the Urban Skyline
We are honored to present the monumental Beijing Wangjing Point Light Source Project, a landmark undertaking that has redefined the nightscape of one of Beijing’s most dynamic districts. This large-scale urban lighting initiative transformed numerous high-rise buildings into a synchronized, breathtaking canvas of light, creating a cohesive and iconic visual identity for the Wangjing skyline.
Facing the challenge of harmonizing light across a vast assemblage of architecturally diverse buildings, our solution was a feat of scale and precision engineering. The project involved the strategic installation of a staggering 700,000 individual point light sources. These were unified and animated by an advanced 512-channel control system, working in concert with a series of fully custom installation systems designed to adapt to the unique contours and structures of each building.
The result, as captured in the project imagery, is a spectacular urban panorama. The glittering towers, each adorned with dynamic, colorful light patterns, converse with one another, while the flowing streams of vehicular light on the streets below complete a living portrait of a modern metropolis at night. This project goes beyond illuminating buildings—it orchestrates light to give a unified voice and rhythm to an entire city district.
